Dante Scarietta

Dante Sciaretta is a full-time law enforcement officer with over seven years of professional experience, specializing in firearms use, self-defense incidents, and real-world threat response. Throughout his career, he has been directly involved in shooting investigations, self-defense firearm incidents, and tactical medicine and trauma management. This hands-on experience provides a practical, real-world understanding of how defensive encounters unfold not just on the range, but in the critical moments before, during, and after an incident.

Dante is a certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor through the Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission (MPOETC). In addition to firearms instruction, he holds certifications in narcotics enforcement and investigations, as well as the use of less than lethal force options including Taser and PepperBall systems. His background allows him to teach firearms skills within a broader framework that emphasizes responsible use-of-force decision-making, safety, and legal considerations.

Dante is deeply passionate about Second Amendment rights and believes that every law-abiding citizen who chooses to exercise those rights deserves safe, practical, and efficient training. His mission as an instructor is to help people build confidence, competence, and sound judgment with their everyday carry firearms while emphasizing accountability, situational awareness, and personal responsibility. He also places strong emphasis on post-incident considerations, including how to properly manage the aftermath of a self-defense encounter and navigate the investigative process. Dante takes pride in helping students prepare not only to defend themselves, but to do so safely, responsibly, and with confidence.
