Jawbone Defense’s proprietary continuum of training, The Wall of Protection, is built upon the Cornerstone.  In architecture, a cornerstone is the first stone laid for a structure, with all other stones laid in reference. A cornerstone orients a building in a specific direction. 

The Keystone is the central stone at the apex of an arch, without it the arch would not stand. When constructing an arch, the keystone is placed last locking all the other stones into place, allowing the arch to bear its own weight. The Capstone is the finishing stone placed on the top of an exterior architectural element or wall. The capstone protects the masonry, shedding water and protecting all the structure beneath.
