REALshield™ is a comprehensive safety and awareness course designed specifically to help realtors reduce risk, recognize danger early, and respond decisively when seconds count.
This course is built on real-world data, historical case studies, and proven defensive principles. Students learn why they must view themselves as their own first responder, understanding that violent encounters often unfold in seconds, long before law enforcement can arrive. The emphasis is not on fear, but on prevention, preparedness, and intelligent decision-making.
REALshield™ focuses on developing practical skills in situational awareness, threat recognition, and avoidance. Participants learn how predators select victims, how distractions reduce survivability, and how small behavioral changes, posture, movement, eye contact, planning, and positioning can dramatically reduce the likelihood of being targeted. Special attention is given to the unique risks of open houses, private showings, meeting new clients, and publicly shared personal information.
The course introduces a simple, repeatable decision-making framework centered on Avoid, Escape, or Defend, reinforcing that the goal is always to avoid violence when possible. Students are taught how to gain critical seconds through awareness, identify early warning signs, plan exits, and make legally defensible decisions under stress. For those who choose to carry defensive tools, the course addresses mindset, responsibility, and the legal and moral considerations involved in self-defense.
REALshield™ is appropriate for all experience levels and does not require firearm ownership. The skills taught are immediately applicable to daily real estate activities and personal life, empowering participants to move through the world with greater confidence, awareness, and control.
